Offshoots of the Institute

The Institute aims to start more Early Intervention Centers so that more infants and young deaf children can be helped to develop language and speech. The Institute approaches trusts and other organisations that are interested in helping infants and young deaf children. They are helped to establish Early Intervention Centers staffed by trained teachers, with the option to procure the DHVANI Teaching Learning Material.

The following early intervention centers were started, in which teachers have been trained in and are using DHVANI Teaching Learning Material.

Sravanam Sri Venkateshwara school for the hearing impaired – Tirupati

Pranav – Early Intervention Center for young hearing-impaired children – Nagpur

Amaliya Early Learning Center – Colombo, Sri Lanka

Meenakshi Venkataraman Foundation school - Hyderabad

34 Early Intervention Centers – one in each district of Tamil Nadu, funded by the Government of Tamil Nadu

The following organisations have teachers trained in DHVANI, but not following it. Some of them have bought DHVANI Teaching Learning Material
