Role of Parents

Parents are equal partners in the programme. Parents/caregivers are made to watch videos of activities done by parents at home to give them an idea of how they can convert routine activities into a language opportunity. They simultaneously watch the classes whenever necessary. Regular workshops are held to help them. They are trained to become the Resource person for their child once the child joins the mainstream.

Parents are encouraged to continue to be in touch with the school even after the child joins the mainstream. This ensures the child’s progress is smooth in the mainstream. The school helps in career counselling too, if required.
